Behaviour Improvement Programme

The Behaviour Improvement Programme (BIP) is one of the central elements of the Government's strategy to improve behaviour and attendance in our schools and is an integral part of the drive to raise standards. It also is intended to contribute to the Government's strategy to reduce street crime.

Identification of pupils at risk - Every child at risk of truancy, exclusion or criminal behaviour to be identified and given a named key worker for support.

Attendance and truancy - Targets and initiatives in place to improve unauthorised and authorised absence.

Full service extended school - This is Blenheim Primary School which will provide a core set of services and activities for pupils, families and the local community including childcare, health and social care, lifelong and family learning.
